Black Dress in TENCEL™ Lyocell with organic cotton belt
This dress and its belt were sewn and finished by local dressmakers. The dress is made of TENCEL™ Lyocell, a cellulosic fiber from responsibly managed forests, used to make not only the garment’s fabric but also the yarn for seams. The supplier of the fabric adopts the Chemical Management 4Sustainability protocol for the elimination of substances harmful to humans and the environment. We in any case believe that details make the difference, so for the labels sewn onto the garment we chose certified organic cotton. Likewise, the buttons are made of recycled hemp (on a zero-waste perspective) and a small percentage of recycled polyester and are purchased from a supplier who has joined Greenpeace’s Detox campaign to eliminate harmful substances from production. Belt is made of organic cotton and is reversible: black on one side and printed on the other side. The fabrics of the inserts and on the belt take on the vibrant colours of our patterns thanks to sustainable and certified inks safeguarding workers, consumers and the environment. TENCEL™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG.

The adhesive tape for closing the box is made of paper from sustainably managed forests. We carefully designed the shipment packaging to make it easily and wholly recyclable as paper.
