The illustration comes from the wise know-how of a local illustrator, starting from this collection theme: the Polynesian Ocean and its creatures, where the attention focuses on the beauty of natural details and vivid colors of the underwater nature.
The Jelly bag takes its hues from tropical colorful jellyfish.
This bag was sewn in a local artisan workshop and is made of certified organic cotton, both outside and inside. The cotton takes on the vibrant colours of our patterns thanks to sustainable inks with numerous certifications safeguarding workers, consumers and the environment. Our print shop also reuses some of the water previously used in its production cycle. To ensure optimum durability, Zummy’s eco-sustainable bag is stitched with yarn that’s 100% recycled post-consumer polyester. The base that supports the bag – not visible but vitally important – is a pad whose composition is 96% polyester recycled from post-consumer bottles. The zamak button and ring are produced by a company which has joined Greenpeace’s Detox Campaign and committed to eliminating from their production processes chemical substances harmful to human health and the environment. Though we take enormous care over our work, our garments are sewn one by one, so our production is not industrialized: any imperfections are therefore to be seen as unique features of the accessory.
Zummy does not use any animal derived materials and is ranked VVV+, the highest level of ethical rating Animal Free Fashion designed by LAV.

The dust bag containing the product is made of certified organic cotton, printed with certified inks, while the tag accompanying it is recycled paper. To better withstand impact during shipment, the shipment box is made partly of recycled fibres and partly of virgin fibres from responsibly managed forests. The adhesive tape for closing the box is made of paper from sustainably managed forests. We carefully designed the shipment packaging to make it easily and wholly recyclable as paper, with the sole exception of the dust bag, which is an accessory to be kept and reused.
