The illustration comes from the wise know-how of a local illustrator, starting from this collection theme: “a glimpse into the world”, where the attention focuses on animals’ eye, able to capture the climate change before human beings and too often victim of it.
The Lizzy cardigan imitates a lizard eye.
This cardigan is sewn and finished by local dressmakers close to our headquarter, sewn one by one because Zummy takes enormous care over its work. The fabric is made of organic certified cotton yarn, while stitching is made of TENCEL™ Lyocell, a fibre from responsibly managed eucalyptus forests produced by Lenzing AG. The fabric takes on the vibrant colours of our patterns thanks to sustainable inks covered by certifications that safeguards workers, consumers and the environment. Our chosen print house also reuses some of the water previously used in its production cycle. The elastic on the back of this cardigan is 74% recycled post-consumer polyester and 26% natural rubber. We in any case believe that details make the difference, therefore the labels sewn onto the garment we chose are made of certified organic cotton yarn. TENCEL™ Lyocell is a trademark of Lenzing AG.
Zummy does not use any animal derived materials and is ranked VVV+, the highest level of ethical rating Animal Free Fashion designed by LAV.

The box containing the product is made 100% recycled paper and can in turn be recycled, like the tags accompanying it. To better withstand impact during shipment, the shipment box is made partly of recycled fibres and partly of virgin fibres from responsibly managed forests. The adhesive tape for closing the box is made of paper from sustainably managed forests. We carefully designed the shipment packaging to make it easily and wholly recyclable as paper.
